oh! i have a question! If somebody requested their confession to be taken down, would you do it? (not that I want MY confession to be taken down, but im asking what if) Or has that already happened yet? thank you c:
Well, it has yet to happen but I would respect their decision and delete it c: Though if people reblogged it already, I can’t help with that.
Butttt the question remains that it could be a jerky anon just posing as a confession’s original submitter. But I guess we’ll just use the honesty policy here! cx
i guess this isn't my business , but I'm courious of how many confessions you get per day---average. and how many out of how many go through?
HMMMM. I get like…maybe 15 a day? Closer to when Brave came out I would get like 30 haha. I use pretty much all of them expect if they obviously don’t follow the rules, but fortunately that doesn’t happen a lot.
But I add a lot to queue at a time, so someone may have a confession in there and it won’t be published for five days or somethin’. But it’s there, alright! Unless tumblr was a butt and it didn’t go through.
I have a weird question for anybody that has the LE Merida doll. I have mine and haven't unboxed her, but every time I look at her it seems her hair changes a little. She doesn't sit in the sun or anything. :C Does any body else have crazy Merida Hair moments? One of her curls poofed out the other day, and now its back to normal. Its the weirdest thing ever. ._.
Back in the early 1900's, during the Irish famine, slews of them came to America, and they looked so worn out so they immediately were considered peasants and weak. nobody like the Irish. they took what they could get too, and they were often payed less than others. we've come a long way now, haven't we? :)
We have INDEED come a long way! ;u; There’s more to us Irish folk than meets the eye, I suppose. But that’s true for everyone!
Adding onto that whole racism thing, I am a natural brunette, but I am Irish by blood. I love my heritage so much, I dyed my hair red, in support and honour of my heritage. Screw you, racism. I am PROUD to be an Irishman!
Just to tag onto the Anon's mention of the treatment of red-heads. But Scots and Irish, who traditionally had red hair were considered a "lesser" human in America. There's actually a quote about how having a dead Irshman is better than having a dead slave. Irish/Scots were also the first criminals in the US as well as the first Law Enforcement and firefighter types. Since they didn't have as much money as many immigrants they took the jobs nobody wanted. Which added to a lot of racism.
I am learning more today about hair than I ever have in my life.
Also, I am Scottish and Irish. So this is like someone throwing a rock full of history at me.
not a confession, but this is aimed at the anon who wonders why redheads get stepped on. I... personally am not that informed myself but I know it has to do with the historical treatment of redheads throughout the west. they were often considered inferior, evil, or hot-tempered solely based on the color of their hair.
This isn't a confession, just a warning to the poster who confessed that they were going to Disney in a Merida costume. Disney has a policy that no one over the age of 10 can be in the park in costume. They've even kicked people out for being in costume. There was a story very recently in the Orlando news about a teen who was forced to change out of her Tinkerbell Costume before they would let her in the Magic Kingdom.
